- 6 cups fresh or frozen peaches, sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for the topping)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)
Preparation
