Start your autumn mornings with these fluffy Apple Cinnamon Pancakes. Loaded with fresh apple pieces and warm cinnamon, they're a comforting and delicious breakfast treat.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 apple, peeled and finely chopped
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, combine buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
- Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apple pieces.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
