About the Recipe

Experience the harmony of coffee and dessert with our No-Bake Cappuccino Dessert. This elegant treat layers espresso-soaked ladyfingers with a luscious mascarpone filling, creating a symphony of flavors and textures. The best part? It’s a no-bake delight, perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings without the need for an oven.

Ingredients

For the Coffee Filling:

  • 2 cups strong brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 16 ounces mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Assembly:

  • 24-30 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Preparation

For the Coffee Filling:

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the brewed espresso and sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Set aside to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture for a few seconds, ensuring they are lightly soaked but not overly saturated.
  4. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of an 8×8-inch serving dish.
  5. Spread a portion of the mascarpone filling over the ladyfingers, creating an even layer.
  6. Repeat the layering process, finishing with a final layer of the mascarpone filling on top.

For the Assembly:

  1. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
  2. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder using a fine sieve or sifter for an elegant finish.
  3. Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy the delightful marriage of coffee-infused layers in every spoonful.
