Instructions
Preparation
Prepare the Ribs:
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub.
Rub the dry rub generously over the ribs. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to marinate.
Preheat the Grill:
Preheat your grill to medium heat.
Grill the Ribs:
Place the ribs on the preheated grill and cook for about 1.5 to 2 hours, turning occasionally, or until the meat is tender and begins to pull away from the bones.
Make Coffee BBQ Sauce:
In a saucepan, combine brewed coffee, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Glaze the Ribs:
Brush the ribs with the coffee BBQ sauce during the last 15-20 minutes of cooking, allowing the sauce to caramelize on the ribs.
Serve:
Once the ribs are cooked to perfection and glazed with the coffee BBQ sauce, remove them from the grill.
Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing.
