Ginger Pear Green Tea
Ingredients:
1 cup
green tea
(or 1 green tea bag)
½ ripe
pear
, thinly sliced
1-inch piece of fresh
ginger
, sliced
1 tsp
honey
(optional)
A slice of
lemon
(for garnish)
Instructions:
Brew green tea and set aside.
In a small saucepan, simmer the pear slices and ginger in 1 cup of water for 5-7 minutes.
Strain the ginger and pear mixture and combine it with the brewed green tea.
Stir in honey for sweetness, and garnish with a lemon slice for extra brightness.
