  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats

Preparation

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa powder. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
  2. Allow the mixture to boil for 1-2 minutes, continuing to stir. Make sure all the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the peanut butter until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Stir in the quick-cooking oats until the mixture is well combined.
