Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a classic Irish Coffee. This delightful blend of rich coffee, smooth Irish whiskey, and sweetened cream is the perfect way to warm up and toast to good times.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
- Heavy cream, slightly whipped (for topping)
Instructions:
- Preheat a glass mug by filling it with hot water. Discard the water.
- Pour the hot coffee into the preheated glass.
- Add the brown sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
- Stir in the Irish whiskey.
- Gently pour the slightly whipped cream over the back of a spoon to float on top of the coffee.
- Do not stir. Drink the coffee through the cream for the best experience.
