Ginger Pear Green Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup green tea (or 1 green tea bag)
  • ½ ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • A slice of lemon (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Brew green tea and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, simmer the pear slices and ginger in 1 cup of water for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Strain the ginger and pear mixture and combine it with the brewed green tea.
  4. Stir in honey for sweetness, and garnish with a lemon slice for extra brightness.
  5. Serve warm or over ice for a refreshing autumn tea.
